In the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon said there is a time for everything under the sun. That means everything follows a pattern or some type of cycle.
The Bible gives us evidence that there is also a sin cycle. The sin cycle is a period in which people live in disobedience to God's word despite how He has blessed us. If we study the biblical sin cycle, we can understand what causes sin and what can lead to our salvation.
We've seen it over and over again. We live for God for a while, then we backslide and live in sin. It's on and off again.
That frustrates God because he blesses us constantly, even while we are in our sin cycle.
We have observed that God blesses us regularly, but the blessings are routinely interrupted by cycles of sin.
Our desire should be to learn how to atone for our weaknesses and once again enjoy the salvation of the Lord.
