Warnings
Have you ever tried to warn someone but they would not listen? How did you get their attention? Did you yell at them? In the heat of an argument did you throw something at them? Did you scream or pull your hair out? Was someone hit? The ways that we use to get attention may vary but it's obvious that our actions have attracting attention as a goal.
There are many who ignore logical warnings and wise advice. They only respond when something gets abnormal. They won’t respond to “Don’t stay out to late.” They only understand when someone sticks a finger in their face and shouts loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear, “You better make sure you have your butt in this house before 12 or I will wipe the floor with your ugly behind.”
Sometimes we don't get the point until life hits us in the head.
Often we don't hear him and he has to get our attention.
As Christians, we know God has a plan for our lives and he tries to share it with us daily. We want to listen to him and allow him to speak to us without the need of unusual things such as talking donkeys.
