There are many who waste years looking for the “next” talented leader in various areas of pursuit. Often, the person we seek is right in front of our eyes, but we never notice them.
Where is the next one? We tend to look for greatness in some place other than our own hometown. Even our friends often doubt our capacity to do great things because they think they know us. When we tell them about our dreams to become lawyers, doctors, educators, scientists, or other lofty areas of profession requiring skill or special training, they often listen to us but are privately concerned about our ability to achieve our dream.
Is there anything too hard for God to do? Can he use someone from our town to open the doors of invention, discovery, or opportunity?
As Christians, we know that God is able to touch the humblest life and use it for His service. As Christian youth look at their own lives, they should never doubt their own ability because, with God, all things are possible.
