Have you ever
felt your life getting out of control? That's the time when had
everything just right and then on its own, it just shifted into another gear and
took off in another direction? Remember the dream of having the perfect future
meeting prince charming and marrying the beautiful princess and living happily
ever after? Somewhere along the line something happen and our fairytale life
took a wrong turn and like Alice in Wonderland we fell through a hole and found
ourselves pursued by the unexpected, chased, distracted and frustrated at
the least, and discouraged at the most.
When life gets out of control we ultimately end up in a
situation that is frustrating and sometimes dangerous. It's what happens when
we drive an automobile; it goes along fine until we lose control. Sometimes we
end up in the wrong lane, in a ditch or worse.
It would be nice if we could always control the steering
wheel of destiny ourselves, but forces beyond us often seem to grab the wheel
and stir us in directions we do not want to go. When that happens it takes a
tremendous amount of effort, prayer and will power to regain control of our
lives.
Regaining control of your life could mean regaining control of your family
life, finances, career goals, dreams, health, and a plethora of other
particulars.
Remember the movie "It's a wonderful life?" George
Bailey was given a chance to see what the world would have been like without
him and he realized how much he really mattered. He cried out, "Give me my
life back!" In a similar sense, many of us have seen a time when our lives
were going in the right direction, at the right speed, with the right purpose.
Some of us have known the sense of enjoyment that we felt when everything was
going right. However, when things start to slip away from the norm like George
Bailey, we start to shout, "Give me my life back!"
When we silently scream our frustration in the corridors of our mind, God hears
us. We know He hears what we think because Psalm 139:2 says, "Thou knowest
my down sitting and my uprising. Thou understandest my thoughts afar off."
He sees our frustration and has prepared a response to our plea.
God wants not only to give us our lives back, but to
give us a new and improved version, upgraded to meeting specifications of
today's operating system. He wants to give us a chance to wipe and reload
our lives leaving out all of viruses, bugs, and hacks that have taken complete
control of our spirit.
However, to get the upgrade we must "Click Here"
here to begin download the upgrade. The "Click Here”, we must accept Christ, if
we want our lives back.
As Christians, we know that God can restore our lost lives,
hopes and dreams. He can give us renewed joy, enthusiasm and happiness; all we
need to do is ask.
