Do you have a cell phone or know someone who has one? Cell phones are becoming increasing popular today and in many parts of the country, they are replacing land lines. Nearly everyone has a cell phone. Businesswomen and working men have cell phones. Students have cell phones, grandmothers have cell phones. There is a company that makes cell phones for babies.
They have a variety of names: Razers, I-phones, Flip Tops, Blackberries, Treos and the latest craze, the I-phone.
The technology exists today that makes connectivity a premium.
There are cell phones which take photographs and movies. The movies recorded on some cell phones can be instantly uploaded to CBS news or YouTube without the need of a computer.
We have many ways to connect with each other, but many are still disconnected from God. Is it possible that we refuse to connect with Him because we can’t deal with him right now; not with my new job, my campaign, my new house, my household responsibilities, my children, and all of my troubles?
As Christians we should resolve to that whenever God calls, we are ready to answer and to hear his voice. If the Lord dials our number, when should make sure that he gets through.
